Hmrc Releases Windows 10 Mobile App For All Tax Related Needs

HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs) just released an official Windows 10 app for both Windows 10 Mobile and PC that provides users with a system to connect their Government Gateway account to a Windows PC or phone.

All you’ll need is an HMRC account to log in. If you don’t have one already, you can sign up for one easily.

Here are a few of the features the HMRC app allows you to do:

Keeps you updated with your next tax credits payment date
Allows you to view and manage your personal tax account
Keeps a record of forms that you’ve sent to HMRC
Provides users with a sole consolidated platform to stay informed with the latest news and messages from HMRC online.

While the app isn’t the most versatile, it is definitely off to a good start and will surely be able to compete with some of the best finance and accounting apps in no time. It gets some basic tasks done which should be enough until Microsoft comes up with more innovative additions to the app.
