Halo 5: Guardians is one of the most eagerly awaited Xbox One games. As such, Windows 10 PC users truly wish this game would be released on their platform, insatiably reading all the rumors fueling the idea that Microsoft will do so.

One Halo 5 game, Halo 5’s Forge Mode, will make its way to Windows 10 later this year, and serves as the main reason why many people believed the full game itself would soon find its way to the PC.
Tired of all these rumors, Microsoft preferred to clarify things and confirmed the company had no plans to bring Halo 5: Guardians to Windows 10 PCs, focusing on improving the games that have already been designed for PC:
Despite this straightforward approach, let us not forget that Microsoft released a series of box games to its PC platform. The most important games that migrated from the Xbox to Windows 10 PC are Quantum Break and Gears of War: Ultimate. It is not too far-fetched to suggest that Microsoft could change its mind in the future and decide to bring Halo 5: Guardians to PCs, as well.
Our approach is to deliver epic Halo experiences designed for PC gamers and Windows 10, such as Halo Wars 2 and the recently announced Halo 5: Forge. There are no plans to port Halo 5: Guardians to PC.
Speaking of Halo 5 rumors, many suggest that Microsoft could announce a Halo game specifically developed for PCs at E3. This would be a very inspired move from Microsoft: If the company won’t allow PC users to enjoy the Halo 5: Guardians experience, the least it could do is to roll out a Halo specific game for Windows 10 PCs.
Redmond could also reveal a new Xbox One at the same event, which could actually be more of a design change than a truly new device.
