This is beyond doubt one of the most anticipated and critically acclaimed games of 2020, and it’s about to extend its reach.
- This is excellent news for PC players who wanted a chance to try this title.
- Ghost of Tsushima will allegedly become available for Steam early next year.
- However, this is not official information confirmed by the game developers.
- According to the retailer that posted it for sale, it will drop in sometime in 2023.
We know that a lot of people were sad when finding out that Ghost of Tsushima was going to be a PlayStation exclusive, but that’s about to change pretty soon.
Allegedly, this highly desired RPG is about to be enjoyed by PC players around the world, as it would be coming to Steam in 2023.
Is Ghost of Tsushima coming to Steam in 2023?
There is no confirmed official information yet but, as we all know, spoilers can come from where you least expect it.
Redditor Repulsive_Lettuce was simply browsing one of his go-to sites for game keys when he stumbled upon something that raised more than just an eyebrow.
We also did a deep dive on the Instant-Gaming website and searched for this awesome PlayStation title, only to find out that this is not actually a joke.
Searching for Ghost of Tsushima yielded two results. The first one was the console version, and the second one was, just as found on Reddit, dedicated to Steam.
Furthermore, the site also reveals when the beloved game will join the Steam lineup. According to the first Instant-Gaming post, Ghost of Tsushima was supposed to come to the PC platform starting on the 8th of February, 2022.
Things have changed a bit since we last reported it, and the 2022 release date is no longer present on the website. Now, it just says that it will be available in 2023 without any month being specified.
For the time being, you can’t pre-order the game key, only subscribe to the site’s newsletter and get informed about when this option will become available.
This is a really big deal for PC players, who actually saw a lot of PlayStation exclusives added to Steam recently, among which are Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and also God of War.
However, as we said, this is not official information and it is rather strange for an unannounced game to appear on a third-party key retailer.
So before we get all excited and start making plans for next February, let’s see if developers or even the people at Steam will confirm this.
Since we’ve initially written this article, a lot of streamers have become increasingly hyped and impatient, sharing their enthusiasm with their viewer community.
We’re not sure how this will translate into a faster availability of the PlayStation exclusive for PC players, but the hope is that we will have it soon.
We’ll keep an eye out and report back if there are any changes in this story. Will you buy Ghost of Tsushima once it becomes available on Steam?
