We all know that Viva is an employee experience platform that brings together communications, knowledge, learning, resources, and insights in the flow of work.

Viva Connections, one of the four Viva modules that the company announced earlier this year has now made the jump from desktop to mobile.

Yet another useful integration for Teams

Viva Connections grants employees access to relevant news, conversations, and other content within Microsoft Teams.

It’s basically a gateway for the employee experience and offers a personalized, integrated mobile app that brings together news, conversations, key resources, and actionable tasks and items into a single space.

It can be customized to include company branding and critical business applications, so definitely a tool that a lot of users rely on.

The Redmond-based tech company also announced the general availability of new partner integrations for its employee experience platform.

What this actually means is that the Viva Connections app in Teams should now easily integrate with several popular apps and services, among which BlueYonder, ServiceNow, Qualtrics, and Moveworks.

Microsoft also plans to add support for other partner apps such as Workday, EdCast, and Espressive in January 2022, so a lot to look forward to.

Last week, during the Ignite conference, Redmond officials announced that Viva Connections and the three other Viva modules, Insights, Topics, and Learning, are now generally available with one single plan.

Currently, Viva Connections is included for free in all Microsoft 365 and Office 365 plans for enterprises.
