“We’re excited to today announce Windows 10 compatibility for Garmin Connect Mobile, an intuitive application where Garmin users can easily find the information, data and features that are important to them.” – Garmin Official Blog

Garmin Connect Mobile Brings Some New Features and Cortana Integration

Garmin Connect Mobile comes with a new, modern design, with customizable user interface. The app is very easy to navigate, and it features daily snapshots, leaderboards and a newsfeed. And of course, there’s a progress tracker of your training, which allows you to track all your activities.

Just like most of the newly released app, Garmin Connect Mobile is integrated with Cortana. You can use Windows’ virtual assistant to search for your activity data from the app, like for example: “How many steps did I take yesterday”

The app supports Microsoft Live Tile, as you’re able to pin some of your stats to the Start Menu, including active calories, last activity information, how much sleep you got the previous night, how many steps you have taken toward your goal, etc.

And finally, the new Garmin’s app allows you to share your activities and leaderboards to other users, as well as participate in weekly Challenges where you compete with other users in a certain fitness category, or activity.

You can check for the app in the Windows Store, but it looks like it still isn’t available for download. However, the app probably just hasn’t fully propagated yet, and it should become available shortly.
